I often have this fantasy in my head (where else could fantasies live?) that I run away and live in a camper van or get suddenly rich and become a full time artist and use an Airstream caravan as a studio. Of course it is always immaculately furnished inside like this example of a refurbished one from 1978.

Interesting take on recycling, creating repurposed clothes out of military clothing and equipment. Like army surplus but with design! I like the officers jacket, the cap and the penknife. Oh and the duffel bag.

The magnificent OLPC has now got a new chip, the Marvell 1GHz Armada, which draws even less power than the old AMD or VIA ones that it had earlier. This means that it is now possible to top up the battery using the hand crank.

Colorful Indonesian Clinic and Library Made from Shipping Containers

Ladies and gentlemen, meet the Containerainer. This pretty crap name is actually a fantastic poly-clinic and public library designer by an Indonesian firm of architects. The name for the health clinic and public library is an amalgam of the words "container" and "entertainer". Not quite sure why.
It is however a bold and colourful solution to providing space. The centre is composed of five shipping containers on top of stilts. Containers were selected due to their cost and availability plus the ease of construction.

Moo Business Card Unboxing
Received my free Moo Business cards through the post yesterday. What can I say? Thanks Moo for letting me have them for nothing. There was a limited offer in cooperation with Linkedin that meant if you ordered them by a certain date you could get them for free. But I love these cards so much I will probably now buy some more from Moo, so their marketing campaign has certainly worked in this instance.
The cards come in a free cardboard container that you can keep your business cards in or use it to organise cards from other people. The cards themselves are a nice matt laminated finish that shows up small images very well. The print quality is excellent, although the options for text on the reverse is limited. But that aside, these are fantastic and I will definitely be getting more of these in the near future. Go get some now.
